Getting The Most Out  

Of Life Experiences

During an email exchange with a friend we were discussing ideas about how to be with, and positively move thru life experiences that can be of a more challenging nature.  She had consulted a wise woman in her life about how to get the most out of these situations in life that really call us forward to grow and evolve. The response the woman shared with her is brilliant so I'm inspired to pass this along. 

"Well, I think it is in the questions you are asking yourself.  I would ask how is this situation asking me to grow or evolve so that I can truly reap all of the beauty from this experience?"  

Often we are asking ourselves, "What could I have done differently (to get another response)?"  She said, "It is not so much about changing what happened, trying to be better or do something differently to get the results you desired.  It is choosing to grow yourself to welcome in all the benefits from this experience."

I just love how I feel every time I read this.  It is such a beautiful way to embrace a life opportunity rather than coming at it with any level of resistance....... which of course only limits what you will receive in the process.

Life is such an adventure and having our ever growing "Pack of Tools" with which to navigate strengths our confidence that we can not only survive the "bigger waves" of life but thrive because we got to have the experience!
