During an email exchange with a friend we were discussing ideas about how to be with, and positively move thru life experiences that can be of a more challenging nature.  She had consulted a wise woman in her life about how to get the most out of these situations in life that really call us forward to grow and evolve. The response the woman shared with her is brilliant so I'm inspired to pass this along. 

"Well, I think it is in the questions you are asking yourself.  I would ask how is this situation asking me to grow or evolve so that I can truly reap all of the beauty from this experience?"  

Often we are asking ourselves, "What could I have done differently (to get another response)?"  She said, "It is not so much about changing what happened, trying to be better or do something differently to get the results you desired.  It is choosing to grow yourself to welcome in all the benefits from this experience."

I just love how I feel every time I read this.  It is such a beautiful way to embrace a life opportunity rather than coming at it with any level of resistance....... which of course only limits what you will receive in the process.

Life is such an adventure and having our ever growing "Pack of Tools" with which to navigate strengths our confidence that we can not only survive the "bigger waves" of life but thrive because we got to have the experience!

Radical Recycling

Recently I've noticed how many quick judgments (along with the corresponding feelings that always accompany thoughts) show up in my mind about others on any given day.  I've also learned how these judgments, spoken or not, create distance between myself and others.  I understand that these are reflections of prior programming and insecurities. With this awareness I set an intention be become a more deeply accepting and allowing person.

This led me to consider a solution/process/system to practice when judgments present themselves and the idea that was birthed out of this desire and the deliberate intention has developed into a really great and powerful practice.  I'm loving it!

Autumn Abundance Sale

Picturing such an extra special Winter Holiday Season……………….. I’ve set a clear intention (and it’s already showing its effects) of making as many wonderful memories as I can this Holiday Season.  I also decided to create extra expanded radiant health and beauty rather than experience any diminishment of these central aspects of my life as happens so often to so many during this time of year.

One of the best gifts you can give your facial skin (as well as your hair) is a hydrating, toning spritz of floral water. Keeping yourself abundantly hydrated inside and out will vastly improve the quality and radiance of your skin.  We all know this right?  So the mission at hand is more about integrating consistent self-loving habits into our daily practice.  I find it easiest to pair a new habit with some consistent routine I already have fully in mode.
