Dae’s Comments: I originally formulated this product with one of my sisters in mind. She had a significant case of "pregnancy mask" from taking birth control pills and was motivated to improve the evenness of her skin. Uninterested in commercial products that rely on harmful chemicals to create the actual lightening effect, she asked me for ideas. I experimented extensively with any botanical ingredients that would lighten hyper-pigmented skin. This particular blend proved to be the most effective as well as being very gentle. The side challenge is that she has very sensitive skin in general. As it turns out, this product is amazing for many reasons. It is deeply nourishing and slightly moisturizing without leaving any film of product. I have many clients with skin that tends to break out who have had great results using this. There is a balancing effect it has on the health of the skin that is noticeable. For me personally, it keeps any and all brown spots in check even in the intense Maui sun and the blissful scent is such a side bonus. The longer this product is on your skin, the more benefit you will receive......just don't let it dry really tight. I don't ever recommend that as a practice when masking. It takes too much water out of the skin and keeping your skin adequately hydrated is of the utmost importance to your skins overall health and glow factor!
